My name is Matteo Bonotto and I am a documentary photographer, originally from Venice and based in Central London.
I first developed my photographic vision through years of working as a qualified architect combined with studying fine art photography, under the teaching of International renewed Photographers like Cristina García Rodero, Alberto García-Alix and Juergen Teller in Italy, Spain and the UK.
Today I made my passion a career and I am founder and director of the London based photography studio DUO Exposures. More than 15th years of experimentation have informed my current photographic techniques. Cutting edge equipment, combined with a hybrid workflow, enables us to deliver extremely high resolution digital images of uncompromising quality.
I strive to obtain technically perfect photographs and I genuinely enjoy mastering the camera and the technology behind it. My pictures are mostly characterized by the search for balance and symmetry, without compromising the dynamism of movement. Crispness, vividity and a perfect focus are my dogmas and what can assure the longevity and timeliness of each image. Everyday life, people and buildings are my absolute passion and as such, also my most frequent commissions.
My first and utmost commitment is documenting reality, picturing an instant with the ultimate aim of exposing the poetry of life in its essence.
My name is Fabiana Sciacca and I will be shooting alongside Matteo during one of the most wonderful days of your life.
I have a background in Fashion. I trained as a Designer at Central Saint Martin and London College of Fashion and I have been working for some renewed international Brands. My personal inclination as well as my training have always drawn me towards any form of Arts and Beauty. I genuinely enjoy being surrounded by positive feelings and appreciate all those beautiful things that make our existence a little more pleasant.
I approached the wonderful world of Photography thanks to Matteo. I started assisting him during photo shoots and carrying out simple tasks like holding lights, making sure the set was in good order. Thanks to these first experiences that I can now date back over 10 years ago, I have learned the importance of light in photography, the use of reflex and mirrorless cameras and the difficulties that lie behind this amazing technology. Over time, I really started to enjoy expressing myself through photography and today, this discipline has become such a meaningful part of my life and personal experience.
Today I am lucky enough to merge passion with profession and to be part of DUO Exposures, I will do my absolute best to deliver some precious memories to all our couples.
